Drum & Bass Community Mourns The Loss of Producer Optiv

It is incredibly saddening that we have to bring you this news.

Edward Holms, known on the stage as Optiv and half of the production duo Cause 4 Concern, passed away tragically on 6th January 2020. He was known around the industry to be nice, humble, and always taking care of others.

Since 1999, Optiv has released dozens of records on labels including Red Light Records, 1210 Records, Random Recordings, Project 51, Blindside Recordings, Virus, Black Sun Empire, and many more including his own label Cause 4 Concern (est. 1999). In 2017 he launched a sub label, C4C Limited to showcase upcoming talent.

There is a large amount of support coming in from the entire Drum & Bass community.
