Want To Sit At The Coffeeshop? You Must Register Your Contact Details

Are you heading to Amsterdam and plan to sit inside one of Amsterdam’s 166 coffeeshops? You will now need to register your contact details in order to sit down at a coffeeshop. Recently, Netherlands placed new COVID-19 measures within the catering industry to allow for better tracing of Coronavirus.

We had previously reviewed the unfortunate possibility of coffeeshops closing smoking rooms again. Luckily, that is not the case here. Dutch coffeeshops remain open. That is, as long as they follow the new measures placed upon the catering industry. All guests must register their contact details upon entry to the coffeeshop. This is to ensure better contact tracing in the event that one of the patrons does in fact test positive for coronavirus.

If you are coming to Amsterdam and want to sit inside somewhere like Original Dampkring and enjoy a fresh fruit shake with your cannabis consumption, you will have to leave your contact details. Perhaps you would like to enjoy an outdoor smoke session at The Bushdocter. You will also have to leave your information. This is a requirement at all coffeeshop establishments. You will be required to register your contact details if you plan to sit and consume your purchases at the coffeeshop.
