In Buffalo, New York, rave organizer MNM Presents continues to sell tickets to events, even after the events have been cancelled! Apparently it is becoming a thing for rave organizers to continue selling tickets during the Covid-19 outbreak.
UPDATE: As of 8:10 a.m. (EST) on April 5, MNM Presents took to their Facebook page, beating around the bush, and still not directly announcing the REZZ show will not be happening on April 24. After a review of their other pages, we still see no announcement. Tickets also still remain on sale.
Instead of MNM Presents informing attendees and halting any future ticket sales for the event, attendees are forced to reach out to the venue themselves. Here is a response one of the attendees of the April 24 event with Rezz received on March 30.
Buffalo Riverworks Bar & Entertainment Manager, Marc Vitagliano states, “The REZZ concert shceduled for April 24th has been postponed. The new date has not yet been determined… The best way to monitor when a new date will be announced is to check the promoter’s website… If you wish for a refund contact (MNM Presents) directly”.
Unfortunately for those who have purchased tickets, no announcement has yet been made. The venue sent a personal email to an attendee who reached out, informing her the event has been postponed, 1 week ago.
Several attendees have asked questions on the Facebook event page regarding ticket refunds or if the event is still happening. One attendee even requested information from MNM Presents back on March 16! No response or announcement has been made by MNM Presents. Tickets still remain on sale.
Just last month, Rave organizers in Netherlands attempted to host an event after Rampage was forced to canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
