Netherlands readers! Head on over to Coffeeshop Kronkel in Nijmegen to start your new year with some delicious soul food. The coffeeshop is hosting its annual New Year’s Day buffet beginning at 4 PM on 1 January, 2020.

Kronkel opened to serve the Nijmegen region in 1986 and has been a hotspot for local residents and visitors alike since. The shop features the classic coffeeshop atmosphere with many added attractions including DJ events, pool tournaments, and the shop’s recently revamped “at home with a twist” Thuis Bij Kronkel Cafe, which serves a wide range of food and drink options including everything from burgers and milkshakes, to specialty smoothies, salads, pastas, vegan eats, and desserts. Kronkel even utilizes solar panels and a rooftop garden to reduce the shop’s CO₂ emissions!
