Today, January 8th 2020, marks a significant date for New York’s medical marijuana program, and is coined “MMJ Virtual Lobby Day”. Currently, New York States medical program is pitiful. It is time to make significant amendments to this program!

Under the law, smoking is not permitted and the regulations prohibit edibles. Please contact the registered organization directly to find out more about the products they have available. – Taken from health.ny.gov
The state currently does not allow home grow, edibles, or even smokeable flowers! You can purchase cartridges, however, the state has recently forbid vaping of nicotine. It is mind-boggling what is going on over in New York!
Several activist groups including Norml & The Medical Cannabis Community are urging NY residents to help create some much needed improvement to the medical marijuana program. They have requested residents of the state to call the offices of Governor Cuomo, Senator Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins, & Assembly Speaker Heastie and say the following:
Hi my name is (Name), I am from (City/Town, New York) and I am calling to urge (Cuomo/Stewart-Cousins/Heastie) to make the following 6 changes to the Medical Marijuana program:
1. Addition of smokeable flower, whole plant extracts, and concentrates.
2. Home cultivation of 12 plants (6 in flower, 6 in veg).
3. No tax for medical marijuana patients.
4. Veteran support programs and product discounts.
5. Improving Product Transparency, including access to cannabinoid and terpene profile testing, Certificate of Analysis (COA), and pesticide & heavy metal reports.
6. Legal protections for patients, specifically in the realm of employment, public housing, and Family and Child services.
Please relay this message to the (Senator). Thank you for your time.
Local Kenmore, New York entrepreneur, Nicholas Petrotto (Wints Prints) tells Audio Kush, “I waited all of 2 minutes for a representative to pick up”.
Phone lines have been buzzing since 9am this morning and we expect high volumes of calls throughout the evening until the end of the business day at 5pm. As Petrotto states, it only takes 2 minutes! If you read this far and haven’t called yet, what are you waiting for?
