Greg Robinson, lineman for the NFL’s Cleveland Browns is facing 20 years in prison after being caught with 156.9 pounds of marijuana in his possession.
At the time of his arrest, Robinson was passing through the United States Border Patrol’s Sierra Blanca Checkpoint Station, near the Texas-Mexcio border, accompanied by ex-NFL player, Quan Bray. A K9 unit detected the cannabis inside of vacuum sealed bags, hidden in the door at the rear of rented Chevy Tahoe the men were driving.
Greg Robinson was drafted 2nd overall in the 2014 NFL Draft. He joined the Cleveland browns as a tackle in 2018. Now, both Robinson and Bray have been charged with conspiracy, possession, and the intent to distribute marijuana, if convicted, they could face up to 20 years in federal prison for their actions.
