Early this morning at 12:30 a.m., The Plug West, a coffeeshop in Amsterdam West, was robbed by two men, with a suspected third accomplice.
Two men walked into the take-away only coffeeshop and threatened The Plug West staff with a gun and a knife. Fortunately, no one was injured during the armed robbery.
The two suspects fled on a scooter with the stolen money, and police mention they anticipate a third culprit was involved in the armed robbery.
With little to no information to go on, the police are asking people with dash-cams or doorbell video surveillance to share their images with them to assist an arrest.
