The original Boerejongens Coffeeshop, Boerejongens West began the iconic Amsterdam chain in 2007. Boerejongens West has the feel of a 19th century pharmacy or perhaps a fancy bank. After being greeted by a Boerejongens host wearing the brand's signature three-piece suit and bowler hat, guests can enter the small one level shop, who's signature marble floors and counters set the precedent for the luxurious quality echoed across the other Boerejongens locations. Boerejongens West is a takeaway-only establishment, yet has a small smoke-free seating area to the right of the front counter where guests can order hot tea and coffee. Boerejongens West's digital, interactive menus display the shop's large variety of cannabis and hash offerings, featuring Amsterdam Genetics products. Amsterdam Genetic's seeds and merchandise as well as the brand's well-known gourmet Spacetry edibles can be found at Boerejongens.

What is Boerejongens?

Boerejongens [pronounced Bore-a-young-an’s] "Farmer Boys" is a chain of distinctly-immaculate Amsterdam cannabis coffeeshops, committed to exemplary quality.

Since 1985 Amsterdam's iconic Boerejongens team has been rooting itself deeply within Amsterdam's cannabis culture. In 2007, the Boerejongens Coffeeshops came to be when Boerejongens West opened in Amsterdam's De Baarsjes neighborhood. With a mission of providing superior quality and outstanding presentation, not to mention customer service from highly-trained, passionate staff, the Boerejongens experience is truly unique to that of other Dutch Coffeeshops.

Boerejongens works cooperatively with partners including Amsterdam Genetics and Bond van Cannabis Detaillisten (BCD) "The Association of Cannabis Retailers " to develop and refine a superior line of cannabis genetics, developed with both passion and scientific expertise.

The Boerejongens Coffeeshops chain is currently made up of four coffeeshops: Boerejongens
West, Boerejongens Center, Boerejongens BIJ, and Coffeeshop Sloterdijk, the newest addition to the Boerejongens family, serving customers since 2018.

When a brand invests so much passion and hard work into ensuring its genetics are of the highest quality, it is only logical it would want its staff to be well-trained. Boerejongens staff undergo rigorous training, taking an average of two years to complete. In addition to on site experience at the coffeeshop, staff also complete officially accredited courses to gain further insight into the cannabis industry.

Amsterdam Genetics' "Spacetry", THC-infused edibles are available at Boerejongens shops as well as a select number of other coffeeshop outposts scattered throughout the Netherlands. These delectable infused desserts are presented in the same exquisite manner of the Boerejongens shops. These beautiful gourmet edibles are the creation of a Michelin Star Chef and are as appealing to look at as they are eat. A variety of Spacetry variations make up a regular product line and limited edition Spacetry variations are released periodically.
