Coffeeshop 36 was located at Warmoesstraat 36, Amsterdam prior to its closure in 2013. 36 was the first of Amsterdam’s coffeeshops to close in 2013 in response to the city’s ongoing effort to clean-up the de Wallen (Red Light) District. The shop’s permit expired on July 1, 2013 and was not granted renewal.
