A basement coffeeshop next to nightlife hotspot, Leidseplein, Coffeeshop Get Down (fka. Get Down To It) is an underground hangout so spacious (by Amsterdam standards) it is able to house not one but two billiard tables! A large shop filled with wooden tables, chairs, and barstools, Get Down is reminiscent of a community center or banquet hall. The shop's cannabis menu is reasonably large and includes both contemporary and classic strains in addition to edibles and pre-rolled joints. A simple selection of hot and cold beverages as well as basic snacks are available for refreshment.

February 16, 2025 at 12:44 amGet Down is by far one of the most outstanding coffeeshops in Amsterdam, with one of the largest spaces. It’s located in a basement, which is very unique for Amsterdam. They have 2x pool tables and tons of space for you and your mates. The music is usually on point too with new house and trance music. Grab the Strawberry Haze, you won’t be disappointed!
