Medical Marijuana Patients Cannot Be Fired In New Jersey

In 2016, a New Jersey funeral home fired a recovered cancer patient for being an alleged “drug user”. He was prescribed medical marijuana for his medical condition.

Tuesday, March 10, 2020, New Jersey Supreme Court ruled that employees of the state cannot be fired for testing positive for THC. Of course, only if you are a medical marijuana patient.
