25 years after he was disqualified from the World Boxing Association Heavyweight Championship for biting his opponent’s ears, Mike Tyson‘s cannabis firm has released ear-shaped marijuana edibles.
Tyson 2.0, Tyson’s cannabis company, unveiled a new product called Mike Bites, ear-shaped treats with a missing piece, as a nod to Mike Tysons fight against Evander Holyfield, which became known with “The Bite Fight.”
Mike Bites ears have a bite mark at the top of the ear, where Tyson chewed out a piece of Holyfield’s cartilage during their 1997 WBA heavyweight title match
The new product was unveiled on Tuesday through a tweet from the company. “Holy Ears! They’re finally here!” the post states.
Mike Tysons ear shaped THC infused gummies, Mike Bites, are now available at various dispensary locations.
In 2019, Holyfield and Tyson reunited on a podcast where Holyfield forgives Tyson for biting his ear in 1997. This is when the concept for these gummies was apparently first teased. As Mike Tyson put it to Holyfield, “you might be in business because we’re going to make some holy ears.” Further explanations of the holy ear follow, with Tyson going on to say, “edible ears that got a bit taken out of them. Holy ears.”
Is it possible that Evander Holyfield will get a slice of the Tyson 2.0 Mike Bites gummy profits?
