Visit Vintage Art Exhibit & Smoke Weed Simultaneously in Amsterdam

Urban photographer Judocus van Soest brings us back to Amsterdam in the 1980s with photography.

“In 1980 I moved with my family to Amsterdam. 19 years old I experienced the sub-culture of this busting city in the eighties. On my regular walks through town I used to took along a Pentax Single Lens Reflex camera with me. Photography became a passion and there was much to see and to record on camera. A colorful collection of street performers, street furniture and known and unknown figures. Between 1983 and 1988 I shoot a lot of film. Black and white. Without obligation, free work.” – Judocus van Soest

During the months of February and March you can visit Coffeeshop Siberië an exhibit featuring 15 of his historic photos from around Amsterdam in the 1980s. These photos are printed on photographic baryta paper. Come pick up some hash or flower & enjoy the sights of the 1980s through the eyes of urban photographer, Judocus.

There is an exhibit kick off celebration on Sunday 2nd February at 17:00-20:00. Free snacks and refreshments are available for all attendees.
