Travelers from the Netherlands require a 14-day quarantine upon arrival in the United Kingdom starting 04:00 on Saturday. Britain adds the Netherlands to its quarantine list along with several other countries due to rising COVID-19 infections. Travelers from France, Malta, Monaco, Aruba, and the Netherlands must also self-isolate for two weeks.
Britain does not recommend travel to the Netherlands, and imposes 14-day quarantine.
Transport minister Grant Shapps announced earlier today the newly imposed will help, “keep infection rates down”. “If you arrive in the UK after 0400 Saturday from these destinations, you will need to self-isolate for 14 days.” This is after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that Britain must be “ruthless” with new restrictions to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
