Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam 2020

Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam 2020 Goes Virtual

Originally planned for May 15, 2020, Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam hits another obstacle because of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Now due to extended coronavirus measures in Holland, Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam 2020 faces a tough decision. Postpone again, cancel until next year, or go completely virtual.

Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam organizer, Mark, tells AudioKush, “we hoped for something different. We’ll do a virtual one this year”. With current COVID-19 safety protocols in place, and the success of other cannabis award ceremonies and expos going virtual, the decision for Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam 2020 to switch to a digital concept was a suitable resolution.

Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam 2020, sponsored by Amsterdam Genetics, will take place on December 12th. Due to current COVID-19 measures, Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam is forced to host a virtual awards ceremony.

Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam will still take place on December 12th 2020. Due to the obstacle posed by current COVID-19 measures, Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam 2020 is forced to host a virtual awards ceremony. Now, Jack Herer Cup award ceremony will be live streamed, so you can be amongst the first to hear the winners, from the comfort of your own home! No need to fly over to Amsterdam this time. Another possible benefit of this switch is the ability to dip into your head-stash while experiencing the virtual award ceremony. This is because at Hard Rock Cafe Amsterdam, you cannot consume cannabis inside!

Further information for Jack Herer Cup Amsterdam’s virtual edition should be available soon. Once the details are available, we will update it here.

Jack Herer Cup’s European debut was last year in Amsterdam. This year the cannabis award ceremony had plans to return to Hard Rock Cafe Amsterdam on May 15, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and consistently unclear COVID-19 safety measures in Holland, Jack Herer Cup was forced to postpone twice. Now, Jack Herer Cup plans to switch to a virtual concept to ensure the event still happens.

Last year’s Jack Herer Cup in Amsterdam was sponsored by Coffeeshop Original Dampkring and Coffeeshop Feels Good.
