Job Description
We are looking for an innovative and energetic self-starter who will be able to provide a vibrant experience to our customers. You will oversee the café area of our shop and manage the operations. Our Café is mainly Bubble Tea orientated, with emphasis on gourmet teas and mixology. We are looking into creating a food menu not too distant in the future, thus prior culinary experience is a bonus.
Requirements
• Trained barista
• Trained mixologist
• Sales experience
• Fluent English (Afrikaans or other foreign languages is a bonus)
• Culinary experience is a bonus
• Can read and write
• Excellent people skills
• Responsibilities
• Mixing and serving drinks (Bar Tender)
• Making Coffee (Barista)
•Stock take
• Entertainment of customers
• Keeping the kitchen clean
• Cleaning tables
• Continuous assessment, review, and improvement of menu items
• New menu item creation
• Training in drink mixing
• Creative thinking to draw in customers
• Partial responsibility for marketing
• Remuneration
• Basic salary with added commission giving fair room to grow. Commission is worked out from profit and works on different commission levels for targets reached.
