Store Manager - The Bulldog Gottahaves - Amsterdam

For The Bulldog Amsterdam, the most iconic company in the Netherlands, we are immediately looking for a Merchandise store manager for 32-40 hours a week, who is firmly grounded and has commercial insight.

It is a dynamic and above all varied function. You are responsible for the success of selling the merchandise of this world famous brand, which is known for selling tolerated substances. Together with your team, you ensure an increase in store turnover and you manage two stores.

In addition to managing the work floor, you are involved in various administrative activities, such as making rosters, various KPIs and stock management. You are the direct point of contact on the shop floor and you keep an overview of what is happening in both stores.

As a store manager you have an exemplary role: you know how to instruct the employees in the right way, you guide the employees on the work floor, you ensure that all heads point in the same direction and you create team spirit.

You are (Amsterdam) sociable and social;
You will work varied weekend shifts and are available at least 4 days (preferably 5 days) a week;
MBO work and thinking level;
Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial position;
You speak and write Dutch and English fluently;
You have affinity with the smokers industry and knowledge of textiles and retail;
You are solution-oriented and you have a hospitable, representative attitude.
About the organization
You will work in the coziest living room in Amsterdam, The Bulldog. Over the past 46 years, the company has grown into an international brand with not only coffee shops, but also catering establishments, souvenir shops and hotels and the brand continues to grow. In addition to the sale of smokers' items, clothing, souvenirs and gadgets are sold. You manage a team of about 14 sales people and you work together with the managers to achieve the store objectives.Working conditions
