UK Travel Ban Lifted, Traveling Allowed To Netherlands Again

The Netherlands will welcome travel from United Kingdom again.

Starting at midnight on 9 March 2021, the travel ban to the Netherlands from UK will be lifted. The previous ban on travel from UK has been deemed no longer necessary since the British variant of coronavirus has already spread across the Netherlands.

The Netherlands will allow travel from UK again, starting at midnight on 9 March. Though, a ban was initiated in United Kingdom, preventing any international travel, unless legally permitted. This ban is still currently in place. Residents in UK are allowed to travel internationally for a variety of reasons including work obligations, volunteering, education, medical or compassionate grounds, weddings and funerals, buying, selling, or renting property, amongst others. Therefore, travel from UK into the Netherlands will reopen.

A travel ban is still in place from other countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
