Just a week ago we learned that new coronavirus measures forced coffeeshops in 6 regions across the Netherlands to limit their hours. Starting Sunday, 27 September at midnight, Nijmegen coffeeshops will close early due to the new COVID-19 restrictions.
Tightened COVID-19 restrictions have forced Nijmegen coffeeshops to reduce their late-night hours from 1:00am to 12:00am. All 13 coffeeshops in Nijmegen will close early starting 27 September, in an attempt to curve COVID-19 outbreaks. Coffeeshops Dreadlock & Jetset (2 shops), Lucky Luke, Dakota, ‘t Kunsje, Kronkel, Headshop, Smoke or Buggy, Jamaica, Kruidentuin, De Wedren, ‘t Wonder, & Ketema will start to reduce hours on 27 September at midnight. Some of these coffeeshops were already closed prior to midnight on some days.
